About the event

Join St Martin’s Voices in their ‘Voices Underground’ series in the Tunnel Shaft of the Brunel Museum for an atmospheric concert of music including choral settings of birdsong from the Renaissance period to the present day.

Performances take place at 6.00pm and 7.30pm, and each lasts around 45 minutes.

Programme to include:

Le Chant des Oiseaux – Janequin

The Blue Bird – Stanford

The Bird’s Lullaby – Sarah Quartel

A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square – Sherwin arr. Puerling

The Midnight Apothecary will be serving botanical cocktails, wine and beer round the firepit in Brunel’s candlelit roof garden immediately above the tunnel shaft from 5pm. Guests for either performance are welcome to join us from 5pm until 9pm.
