This week St Martin’s Voices have been in St Jude’s Church, Hampstead, recording their first CD as part of a new partnership with Resonus Classics.

The CD features works either written for St Martin’s Voices, or music being recorded for the first time. At the heart are two carol suites – Mary, Mother, by Bob Chilcott, which is dedicated to St Martin’s Voices – and a suite of carols by our new Composer-in-residence, Lucy Walker. We were delighted to welcome Bob and Lucy to the recording sessions. The CD also includes works by Cecilia McDowall, Roderick Williams, Sarah MacDonald, Yshani Perinpanayagam, Thomas Hewitt Jones, Reena Esmail, Olivia Sparkhall and Nils Greenhow.
